INATBA Awards Gala takes place on January 30, 2024. This distinguished event will unfold at AutoWorld, Parc du Cinquantenaire 11, 1000 Brussels, Belgium, celebrating groundbreaking achievements at the intersection of innovation and sustainability.
Awarding Excellence in the Blockchain Sector
The INATBA Awards Gala will spotlight outstanding contributions to the blockchain sector, with a particular focus on the following Special Awards, selected by the INATBA Board of Directors:
- Special Award to Professor Silvio Micali, Founder of Algorand Technologies, for his Contribution to the Sector. The Award recognises his unmatched contributions to the development of computer science, cryptography, and blockchain technology.
- Humanitarian Excellence Award to the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, recognising the organisation’s outstanding commitment and “first of its kind” use of blockchain technology to disburse cash to people displaced or impacted by the war in Ukraine. The Award recognises UNHCR’s significant social impact and commitment to finding innovative technical solutions to assist refugees and forcibly displaced people.
- Partnership Excellence Award to the EU Blockchain Observatory and Forum, commending EUBOF’s outstanding support for the blockchain ecosystem and the INATBA Association.
