INATBA Launches Knowledge BYTES: Exploring the Future of Education Through Blockchain

The International Association for Trusted Blockchain Applications (INATBA) is proud to announce the launch of Knowledge BYTES, our new monthly online journal by the Education Working Group designed to connect educators, researchers, policymakers, and innovators across the globe.

Education is evolving at an unprecedented pace. Emerging technologies, particularly blockchain, are creating new opportunities for learning, credentialing, and skill development. Knowledge BYTES aims to capture these trends, share expert insights, and foster global conversations around the future of education.

What’s Inside the First Issue

Our inaugural edition features Professor Joyce O’Connor (INATBA Academic Advisory Board Member, Co-Chair of the Education Working Group, and Co-Founder and Chair of BlockW). She explores Global Trends in Blockchain in Education for 2025, highlighting how secure digital credentials, innovative learning models, and blockchain-enabled tools are transforming access to education worldwide.

This edition offers readers:

  • Insights into how blockchain can enhance the credibility and portability of educational credentials.
  • An overview of new learning models that expand global access to quality education.
  • Thought leadership from educators and technologists shaping the digital skills of tomorrow.

We invite everyone to explore the first issue here: Knowledge BYTES by INATBA – Issue No. 1

What’s Next

Our next issue is coming out in December and it will focus on digital literacy and the essential skills shaping the future.
