Paul Edge is an accomplished professional with nearly 20 years of experience in the Energy industry, predominantly within Risk Management. As the Blockchain and Metaverse Lead at EDP, he is driving transformative initiatives. Paul has designed stablecoins in 5 currencies, created splitable NFTs for 5G networks, and currently focuses on Guarantee of Origin tokenization and blockchain-based ownership of digital twins. With a Mathematics degree from Manchester University, a PhD in Quantitative Finance from Imperial College London, and a diploma in Actuarial Techniques from the Institute of Actuaries, Paul brings a multidisciplinary approach to his work as a thought leader.
