    Barbara Halasek is the Head of Regulatory Affairs at Coinfirm, blockchain analytics and RegTech company. She has over 10 years experience in Financial Crime Compliance roles within large investment banks like UBS, Deustche Bank and Citibank. Additionally, she has been involved in architecture design of AML RegTech solutions both within the banks and for software company Pegasystems.

    As Deputy CEO, Ms. Innab works closely with the Chief Executive Officer to develop corporate strategy, goals, policies, short and long-term objectives for consideration, adoption, and implementation by the Board
    of Directors. Acts as the secondary spokesperson for the organization and is responsible for all day-to-day management decisions and for implementing the organization’s long and short-term strategic objectives.
    Deya has been instrumental in developing Eastnets’ global growth strategy in alignment with the company’s corporate vision and translating this strategy into innovative solutions and products that meet the evolving needs and the dynamic nature of the industry.
    Ms. Innab has led several development initiatives for Eastnets, including the industry-leading ChainFeedTM solution — a secure real-time watchlist feed over the blockchain.
    Before joining Eastnets, Ms. Innab’s career encompassed working for several entrepreneurial tech firms as well as the multinational professional services network, KPMG, serving global clients.
    Ms. Innab is a graduate of the University of Jordan, where she gained a degree in computer science. In addition, she has attended a number of prestigious executive development programs including INSEAD’s
    flagship intensive Advanced Management Program in Fontainebleau France, and the Orchestrating Winning Performance management program at IMD in Lausanne, Switzerland. Ms. Innab is a certified board of directors by Jordan, Institute of Directors – IFC.

    Kyrylo joined Bitfury after having worked as an academic researcher for five years, where his areas of focus were graph theory and real-world network analysis. Since 2017, he is deeply involved in forming the global product strategy for Crystal Blockchain. Crystal was developed by the Bitfury Group’s software team – a group of world-class blockchain analysts, award-winning mathematicians and professional software developers – all united by the idea of leveraging blockchain technology to build a better, safer future.

    Dr. Max Bernt is Chief Legal Officer of Blockpit, one of Europe’s leading providers of tax compliance solutions for CASPs and individuals alike. He holds a PhD in transnational criminal law and related policy making from the University of Vienna/University of Queensland. Prior to joining Blockpit, Max practised as a lawyer in Vienna for several years, where he specialised in criminal law and also passed the Austrian judgeship exam. For Blockpit, he chairs the relevant INATBA working group and also regularly acts as an advisor and speaker in the area of crypto-related AML regulation and measures.

    Dr. Merav Ozair is a data scientist, a quant strategist and a Crypto/Blockchain expert. She has in-depth knowledge and experience in global financial markets and its market microstructure. Currently, Dr. Ozair applies her unique expertise to researching and investigating Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT) and Blockchain ecosystem, digital assets, crypto markets and specifically, Decentralized Finance (DeFi) space. She has been developing innovative methodologies to evaluate digital assets and crypto markets, including cryptocurrency indexes, valuation metrics, ratings and tokenized products; and of particular focus – researching/developing various DLT and DeFi solutions, including Decentralized Identity, and Decentralized Trust Privacy and Security.

    Dr. Ozair is a FinTech Faculty member at Rutgers Business School (RBS). At RBS she has developed and teaches courses on blockchain and digital assets for both undergrads and graduate level; and is the Research Director of RBS Blockchain Hub. She serves as an Advisor and Researcher at the Rutgers Blockchain and FinTech Collaboratory; and is an Affiliated professor at Rutgers Law School, focusing on DeFi.

    She has been frequently interviewed by world-wide media, such as BBC, ABC, yahoo!, RIA Intel, etc.

    Dr. Ozair is the Editor-in-Chief of the World Scientific Series in FinTech at World Scientific Publishing, and is writing a series of books on Blockchain, Digital Assets and DeFi.

    She is a member of Academic Advisory Body at INATBA (International Association for Trusted Blockchain Applications) and serves on the Advisory Board of EQM Indexes – Blockchain Index Committee; she holds a PhD from Stern Business School at NYU.
